My family has a 96 Malibu Response that we've been using for surfing. Currently we run a 750 across the back, shifted to the surf side, and 2 250 alongside the engine. Usually we have 1 to 2 people on the surf side too.

The wake seems high but the sweet spot is kinda short. We have tried moving weight forward but we seem to lose some of the push the wake gives us. Any thoughts or comments to help us get a better wake?

move the 750 to the side, put one 250 in the back and the other in the front. More weight along the side make the boat lean more. More lean more clean. (wake)
