Hi guys,

I still have to decide on my Wakesurf board length, I'm 5 ft 9 inch tall and weigh about 155 lbs - should I go for The Ringer 2014 Production model with 4' 8'' size, or should I take a smaller board, like the custom made 4' 6''? Might the 4' 8'' be too big? I'm already experienced , no need for an easy to use beginner board.

Here are the boards: http://bit.ly/1c3MowH

Cheers

Hey OKTIVI, A standard 4'8" will work, but at your size and skill level you would definitely benefit from a smaller board sized more for you. It is not that the standard 4'8" is too long, it is wider and thicker than you need. A properly sized board will be more responsive.

You might consider a 4'6" Chaos Carbon Sixer as well. This board is super fast, and has been getting great reviews.

On the full custom level, I can optimize the shape for you, and personalize the board with art work. Whether a custom Ringer or the smaller Carbon Sixer, you can choose traction colors from those available, and I am running a special on premium chaos wake surf fins right now, so you can upgrade to those for free.

If you have any questions just give me a call or shoot me an email.

That's not what he asked. Gotta love unsolicited advise.

I've been on Shred Stixx for four years now and love them. The guys are great, and really try to put you on the right board. Can't go wrong!

Thanks for your fast reply, Nick, I'll definitely think about the Chaos Carbon Sixer.

I believe it just designates the custom, made in USA line from the production versions

I have a carbon sixer- ringer. Its a work of art. I bet it will last 10 years of heavy use. The thing is crazy fast, like please don't hit the boat fast.
