Is anyone savvy enough to know how to take a Tivo recording and get it into a usable format to put on YouTube or a DVD?

We have had a couple of local tv stations do interviews and video clips of our wakeboard camp and they don't really have original broadcast in a complete form. I Tivo'd these but don't know how to make it all work. I don't have anything that reads the Tivo file once it is on my computer.

I would like to take a portion of the news broadcast, trim it down, and be able to post it on YouTube.

Anyone know how?

Try here

If you dig around there are a few other really cool apps to convert files

I know this is really late, but if you have a MAC, you can use TOAST cd burning software. They have a plugin for burning from TiVos.
