You're close... give it another split second... Also take a wider approach to the wake. Really come at this trick hard and fast. You automatically loose a lot of speed when you trip a flip. I pull out till I'm almost parallel with the boat. You are squaring up nicely to the wake. Just wait till you feel the pop under your board before you square up. And Really throw that back hand up and behind you as you go over. You’ll be landing this soon… You're at about 3/4 speed on the video. Amp it up a bit...

I would suggest taking a harder edge. On a Tantrum you don't have to have a great progressive edge, but you do need a lot of speed when you get to the wake. So, as Greg said, Amp it up a bit. Second, (also previosuly mentioned) you need to ride up the wake more. I usually tell people to count to 3 when they think think its time to flip and then flip. Obviously this is an exaggeration, but seriously, you need to wait a lot longer than it seems if you want to get a nice pop out of it. good luck!

I know you posted a while ago, but if you're still having trouble I have a suggestion. I used to do the same thing, and I figured out that it's really not hard to get the rotation for the flip.

Your rotation looks fine, but you're not getting any pop. In the video it looked like you were throwing the trick before you got a chance to pop. How I fixed it was to tell myself to just pop first, then RIGHT BEFORE I leave the wake, I throw the flip. Try the same thing, but wait a little longer and pop.

It wouldn't hurt to take a more aggressive cut, but my personal opinion is that if you get pop first, then throw it, you'll start sticking the trick everytime.

Hey there! Just my .02 cents but it looks like you are never leaving the crouched position. You still need to stand tall when you leave the wake to get the pop. I am not a pro by any means...just a thought! :-D

yep, hit the wake standing tall, and wait on the pop. you don't really have to huck it at all if you do it right.

Definetly stand taller at the wake... That way you don't absorb the energy from the wake. The more you legs are bent at take-off, the more absorption you get. Also, yes, you are taking off a bit early. A good tip would be to use WakeWorld's instructional videos to guide you. Compare you body position and take-off spot to the pros in WakeWorlds videos. There is a good one of Joey doing an Indy Tantrum. You'll notice he stands up tall, before he pops off the wake.

Also, if you cut out a bit further, it might help. If you can't cut out much further, then you need to extend your rope by 5 feet.
