well i did read that discussion John from your link looks like it got a little side tracked but i think after spending $50.000 + on the boat that paying $ 350.00 bucks or so on a FRESH AIR EXHAUST is worth it.

I put one on my Nautique SV 211 last year and it is awesome. I don't notice any performance change and it even quieted down the boat as a bonus. Larry is great if you have questions. Ours was the 1st SV 211 that they had done.

I just put one on my 98 200 VRS Maristar last week. The web site did not carry the measurements for my boat so I gave them the exact numbers. I also purchased the "quick release" as I remove my platform quite a bit. When I began installation I quickly realized that the quick release would not work as received so I had to "re-engineer" the fittings after a visit to my local boat shop to get new fittings. I emailed my concerns and never received a reply. I've used it 3 days now and it works as advertised. But now the gloss black paint on the downspout is peeling off.

I hear it works well but it's not pretty.

Actually, my kids think it makes my boat look cool.

That looks pretty cool. Did you make it or can you buy it? Any problems at higher speeds?

I keep seeing CC folks talking up FAE's on their boats but I have yet to see a single pic of one installed on a Nautique with the single exhaust outlet invertaflow. I'm curious to see how that would look & perform. Only pic I've seen of one on a CC is a Python-equipped SAN, which of course runs dual exhaust outlets.

Anyone care to pony up a pic?

I'd contact Larry Mann at FAE.
