Can anyone tell the difference between the bio and dna cores? I heard that it was real hard to tell.

Evidently parks bonifay can tell, in all of the video I have seen of him lately, he has been on a biolite, so wht buy the dna?

I demo'd the Parks DNA, and bought the Biolite. The differance is subtle. Less weight, is evident, but I couldn't tell there was more pop from the "rods" in the DNA board. If you have the extra hundred and something go for it... I would have bought it purely for the weight savings... unfortunately I couldn't afford it, but I love the biolite just the same!!!

Don't confuse the graphics on a pro's board with what may or may not be underneath. It may be a 2005 prototype with bio graphics.

I just got a Byerly DNA. It is a little lighter than the biolite, but other than that I can't tell a big difference. A pro may be able to but for my riding ability I can't. Just liked the graphics better.

I asked the dealer about the graphics....the blue face is always biolite, the red hy is always dna. The new boards have completely different color schemes and graphics.
The word is, (what my board shop guy told me) the dna feels slower due to the protective bottom coat.(I personally would probably not feel a diff.) He rides with Ruck when he is up our way, so I guess thats the inside scoop.

biolite is a lot cheaper, but dna is supposedly lighter, stiffer, and more durable. other than that i dont think there is much of a diffrence go for the dna if u got the $$$ biolite is good to.
