We went out Friday and the weather was great here in TX. Last time out in Jan. I had closed the valve to the front ballast bag and forgot to open it when I pulled out. Well Friday when I open the valve, water sprayed in all over the place. I closed it again and just didn't mess with the front bag. I figured the pump was messed up. Saturday I pulled the pump out only to find the side of the ball valve blown open.

The 2 nights we had in the upper 20's was enough to freeze and bust it. Sure am glad I drained the block and the manifolds!!!

dang, that's good to know! I never thought about the water captured in there until you mentioned it! Thought about the bags and lines and stuff, not the valves. Hmm... I think I'll just move further south!
