Does anybody know anything about Audiobahn amps?
The one iam looking at is #A4601T and it is 75rms per channel (4 channel amp).
I need some info on them, and a local stereo shop said it was the best amp they sold.

They are a better amp than a Sony/Pioneer/Clarion, but not real high end. I would check ebay before you buy at your local shop. Those amps tend to be marked up much higher than they need to be. They look real nice, so I think most people assume they are much nicer amps than they really are and the shops make a strong profit on them.

I have heard they are not very dependable and tend to get blown. Check some of the review boards on car amps and you will see what I am talking about. For the money, there are much nicer amps out there. Check out www.thezeb.com or www.sounddomain.com. There are some great deals, they come with factory warranties, and you will get a much higher quality amp than the Audiobahn amps for the money. For instance, check out the Hifonics amps at the zeb. They are at a great price right now and the specs are better.

Wow, I found Audiobahn amps and speakers on eBay for half the price of thezeb.com. Their prices don't seem to be that good. The Hifonics are great, but more than I can afford. I'm happy with the $275 Audiobahn that I picked up to power my tower speakers and sub.

Bill, I meant there are other amps that are priced well on those websites, not necessarily the Audiobahn amps. As I mentioned, I think ebay would be the best bet for Audiobahn amps. The only thing you risk are warranty issues, so make sure that is researched before buying.
