I thought Shelby Kantar was lurking around. Now that girl kills rails.

Shelby got worked on Saturday. As did Locken, and Greg N. I think she's done with that rail. It's a long way down when you fall. The builder should have added another level of hay.

Are they going to have that slider shin-dig again or was it just last weekend?
Old     (forwaken)      Join Date: Jan 2003       01-08-2007, 5:55 PM Reply
Which one on Saturday J-rod. I seen her get bent by that thing at the 12 o'clock one and then on her next hit, kill the thing and continue to do so the rest of that session.

I can't thank her enough also for taking the time and lighting a huge stoke in my daughter. If you read these threads Shelby, again, thank you.

Did Kassen ever gap the whole thing? I know him and Greg were both trying to, but never successfully. But again I only watched the 12 session both Sat and Sun.

Sick shots, the rail looks like fun!

Arun, I believe next weekend is the contest.

Nice pics

C'mon guys,
Cut Kaesen a little slack on the flip thing. If you get to know him you will find he is a good guy. He is a good roll model for kids getting into the sport (as are many many others). Ask yourself this question: At eighteen would you take time out of your day to help a nine year old girl (he did). We ran into Kaesen at Mt. Shasta and he took the time to help my daughter out. She was on a snowboard and having a tough time getting down the slope after taking the lift up for the first time. Kaesen stopped and talked to her for a few minutes, got her back up on the board and road with her for awhile. I know when I was his age, I would not have taken the time he did to help a little kid out. This is side of Kaesen that didn't come out on the flip thread.

Sorry for the H/J.

Joe, I'm sure it was. I bit my tongue to keep from saying something smart a$$ when I saw Kaesen at Mt. Shasta. I just thought it was time to point out the positive side of Kaesen's personality. On the record I thought the flip was cool, but at my riding level standing on a board on dry land gets me excited!

I met and talked to Kaesen at the show.

Kassen is a stand up kid and always has brought a positive spirit to events I have been involved in. He has quietly made a niche for himself and shown you don't have to be Shane or Danny to kill rails. I am very impressed with his riding and attitude over the last two years I have been around him. Let's give the kid a break and promote our west coast boys, instead of showing the negativity.

Everything in this thread IS positive. Enough Kaesen sympathy posts or I'm gonna have to get out my violin!

im actually quiting wakeboarding and taking up the art of dance... its been a dream of mine since i could walk.

j-rod,
its cool and i know everything is good.... but, i do know where we can get some high quality violin songs that we can maybe somehow add to the thred so it comes on when ever someone clicks on it. HAHAHA... hows the boatshow goin this weekend? is everyone killin it? i hope....

buffalow,
one love.
