yes they do. The dual rudders vectorizes the prop thrust. Makes the boat turn a whole lot better when weighted as compared to other boats that are loaded with one rudder.

...cause the have 3000+ pounds of ballast on top of a heavy boat.....if only the titanic had dual rudders.

It's 4,ooo pounds of ballast and its the lightest boat out there for its size. 22'8" and only 3,200 pounds with a 496 big block. The dull rudders make it drive like a boat without ballast even when loaded down with 4K and 10 people. It's the only boat that handles well with that large of a load and still drives better then single rudder boats when surfing as well.

COme on Dick... didnt you know... Boats with one rudder only turn one way... the Epic has two rudders so you can turn left and right!

Rumor has it.. that Malibu and Mastercraft are going to re-revolutionize the boat world by coming out with a quad rudder system. This will vectorize the vectorized prop thrust. Makes the boat turn even better as compared to boats that are loaded with only two rudders.

If they come out with that, I'll be sure to invent the Fusion...that's right people, 5 RUDDERS!

Eubanks... I will get someone to come out with Sexy Steer... aka Six Rudders.... with a wedge like shape... will be the equivalent to 6000lbs of down force at the transom... but the "Kool Wedge" is a mid hull wedge which deploys to suck the front down to stop from porpoising...

All integrated with speed control and a computerized systems that analyzes the shape of the wake and auto adjusts everything to maintain the ideal wake shape and size.

It is really something to see.. you should come try it one day!

Hahahaha.... yeah the new model will have a guarantee... if you dont like the way it handles and steers with 2 rudders... we will throw the third on in for free!

or... the only option available on future boats... will be...

6 rudder boat... now you pick the length of hull.

Hey Ryan... if you are wanting an Epic in Alberta... talk to Wayne at TruNorth... I am trying to get him to pick up Epic for all of his dealerships. I think it would be a great addition to the TruNorth dealerships across BC and Alberta.
