Fat Sac Fittings?

I'm starting to design a built in ballast system for my boat.... I'm wondering what people typically use for fittings when designing around tsunami pumps. Are the regular barb fittings and hose clamps OK or should I be getting something else?

Robert,
It really depends on how you want your system to be setup. If you want it to be removable or perminent. Its kinda like the algerbra from Junior High - there are mulitpul ways that you can get to the anwser. It just has to make sense to you.

If you want to go the perminent route you should use a quick disconnect fittings from Fly High. You will be able to get bags out easily and make sure that everyhing is good for winterization. That is the way that most wake boat mfg's do it.

The T1200 Tsunami pumps are 1-1/8" straight threads, the T800 is 3/4 threads. Garden hose thread is different. Fly High make a 3/4" barbed adapter that will fit the T12oo and 1" hose will slip over the T800's threads, no fitting needed.

Go with the Fly High quick connects for the sac ends of the hoses.
