It is! It has been plated screwed and wired shut! No riding for 6wks. This is the result of a very simple fall just my face and board ending up at the same spot in the water. The board clearly won!

Yea man, you'll probably be riding better after you come back because you'll be anxious to ride and you'll have the drive to want to progress more than ever.

Scott,

I don't know if you got my email but thank you for being so generous and letting us ride with you. It's unfortunate what happened, I hope you recover fast and get out there in no time. Your riding was beastly, I was amazed by the air you got on your flips. Again thank you, and hope you feel better.

Dude that sucks.. My girl is laid up for 2 weeks. She mouse trapped and the board came of and hit her in the back of the head and she had to get 5 staples in her head to fix the 2 1/2 inch gash

Sorry to see that! I fractured my tibia plateau in May. It has been really hard to sit back and not ride. Oh well, so much for this summer.

Most people also gain some weight while out injured. I don't think you will have to worry though. Sorry to hear about you injury.

Jeff man anytime you guys come down let me know. Maybe next time I can throw some S bends and 313's since I didn't get to this time.
I can't even eat soup. They wired me so tight anything thicker then milk won't happen. It has been Pediasure and boost for me. I am almost a week in and have already lost 5 lbs.

This happened 6 weeks ago. Attempting HS FS 360 and somehow slipped my arm through the handle of the rope coming down. Almost ripped it off. Results...ulnar fracture with cast for six weeks, now wrist splint for 4-6 weeks. Also had a partial tear of my bicep which was splinted for 4 weeks. I wish my arm was normally that big but it was about 3x its normal size. Looks like I'm going to get really good at wakesurfing.Upload

I'm in the same boat you're in man. I've been out of it for 2 1/2 months now. Three broken bones in my foot and three screws to fix. Screws come back out in a month or so.

i was out for two week and then i busted my eardum with 2 or 3 holes in it, this has not been a good year injury wise

Looks like a lot of pain in this thread. I jammed my knee with a stiff legged landing off the A Frame at OWC a week and a half ago. It swelled up like a grapefruit. X-Rays revealed no breaks, so I'm hoping to be back on the water within another 2-3 weeks. Still sore all the time.
