i think it would work better than a fin.Jeff, you should get Walker surfboards to make your son one ,maybe.just getting creative.

Hey Elliott, I did shape one with four channels and really short fins, it just didn't have any drive. For the way that James rides, he prefers the 3 1/2 Futures Side Bite fins. He's able to break those lose, pretty much at will, but still gives him drive for floaters. Cool idea though, let me know if you come up with anything else!
