Anyone have any info on the massive "engeria densa" weed problem in Discovery Bay? Many docks are socked in. Some bays are completely consumed. Its out of control.

We're out there pretty much every weekend. Hard to believe how fast that stuff is growing.

There are a couple groups of people pulling those. They charge between $250 and $300 (starting) per house.

I heard from Jeff D, (Rec 800) that within a couple of years, this stuff will have Disco Bay completely engulfed. Tragidy in the making.

The bay across from mine is comletely engulfed. 30 waterfront homes are now weedfront homes.

I pulled all the weeds in front of my house and threw them in the trash. Most of my neighbors are not doing a thing.

Not sure if its the same weed that has ruined clear lake, but if you ever drive around the west/north side of the lake, pretty sad, waterfront homes, small towns all ruined by weeds near the shoreline that are so thick it looks like you could walk on it If its the same type of thing, I wouldnt wait around.
