I am riding an 04 CWB 140 Flame with Torq bindings. The boat... An 03 Malibu Sunsstter LXI with tower, perfect pass, and wedge. Was curious what recommendations you ghave for speed and rope length to get good air and clear the wakes?

It's not your boat or your board/bindings setup.

It's most likely your riding style. Stick with the progressive edge and you will have no problems. I would add at least a locker sack to the center ski locker (350 to 550 lbs) to help pull the nose down a bit and smooth out the wakes transition. It's probably very steep and harsh w/o any bow weight and with just the wedge.
