Here's my idea...The "powers that be" at Castaic should run a monthly Sweepstakes/Drawing with the winner getting to spend a day Wakeboarding in the lower lagoon. The money raised could be used to support the lake or the community in some way. Perhaps to pay for swimming lessons for kids so we don't see things like the recent tragedy. I'm sooooo tired of passing that butter every morning on my way to get my serving of "Chop Suey" in the main lake.
good idea, or maybe rent it out like they do at san v? i did a mt. bike ride at castaic this morning, saw a parade of boats on the fwy. i figured it musta been pretty crowded today! scott
There are so many good ways to use the gold mine sitting in Castaic's backyard. It just shows what kind of incompetent people we have running these resources. They probably have never been to Castaic lake.
Hey Joe...where you going with that board in your hand?....Just kidding. Do you ever make early morning runs during the week? I live right over the hill from you in Simi. and I'm trying to find more people who are in to it.
