sorry for all the abbreviations. i tried a couple today. i way overrotated and it felt like a ole 360 gone bad. im trying these with a slightly more progressive edge than my regular spins but not as hard as a backroll. im trying to keep my arm bent at 90 and stare at the shore to prevent from overrotating. any mental tips you guys use to throw the trick please lemme know.

Keep the rope low on your body (bellybutton area). Other than that, just keep practicing and you'll get it.

sounds like a OA 3 would look better and be easier. Never heard of OA 180's except scarecrows and such.

the 180 looks sick with a melan grab and id rather learn how to do that first. i think youre right though and the 3 may be a little easier to learn.

Here's a pic of me doin a heelside off axis 180
dont take a huge cut, grab the board first {if ur grabbing it} then let it out, dont think of it as a 180, just get the grab and let the board drift back, when u pull it in, then pull into ur hip and it will turn u 180. good luck

off axis heelside 180
