Hey i was just wondering i heard the park with the 1.3 fins is really grippy!! I was just wanted to ask i like moderate feel to my board like so it grips well, but not too much and so i can still do some surface tricks without all the struggle. I was wondering if anyone knew if the 1.1 fins are good for this because when i saw the .7s they looked really small like they would be like riding finless which i am not good enough to do yet.

You don't know if you don't try. I say pull the training wheels of that thing and give it a shot.

I recently switched from the 1.3s to the 1.1s and I'm totaly stoked. Just the right feel for me.

I switch between the 1.1s and the .7s depending on the water conditions. I find that neither are too grippy and both work much better than the 1.3s. Surface tricks with either are easy.

I was skeptical about the .7s too. However, I like them the best. I went from 1.3 aluminum to 1.1 plastic (belmonts), and from the 1.1s to the .7s(belmonts). The .7" aluminum are several inches longer than the .7" plastic fins, which gives you more traction with the ease of release. I just wasn't willing to cough up $80 for new fins.

Do the .7 fins feel almost like finless, because i do not like to be sliding around like a snowboard. I like the feel of being able to carve sharply using the fins and being able to do surface tricks. That is why i went with the 1.1s because anything has to be better than the 1.3s i just want to make sure that the .7s that im considering do have good hold and is not super loose if you know what im saying.
thanks

I have the .7's and I definitely will not go back to the 1.3's. I love the .7's, loose feeling. My friend has a Parks with the 1.3's and is now going to buy the .7's after riding mine.
