So I am a bigger guy, 6'1 225-230.. I had been riding an 03 byerly for 3 years prior to this year, and no problems. However, this year I got a new board.. I have had some problems with it, and had to send it back twice. The board actually is weakining and chipping slightly, and exposing some of the core. Now I baby my boards pretty good, and I dont hit sliders, but it is just kinda odd that this has happened to me three times this season. I am hoping it is not because I am too big. I hope it was just a fluke. I was just curious if wanyone else had this problem..

Total fluke dude.... Im 6'2 210lbs and I slam my boards on sliders, docks, rafts whatever and aside from the inevidible scuffing they hold up just fine. I have an 02 byerly and an 05 demented and they have both seen a lot of abuse, so whatever company is making your board switch... board manufactures should consider the big guys more often then they do!!!

is it a ronix? haha j/k

I am a big guy, and I have never had a board do this. I have cracked a few right in the middle, but that is a different story.

If you are on your third board and having the same problem, common sense would suggest getting it replaced, sell the new one and buy a different board.
