Ballast for Centurion Typhoon w walk thru

Has anyone done this? How?

I did it on my avalanche with the walkthrough. Not the easiest thing to do but it can be done. Just be aware that if you do decide to do it your going to have to put extra weight in the bow as well. My wake started curling over after I put the extra weight back there. I put 500 lbs in the front and it fixed it pretty good.

Here goes the list of items you are going to need.
2 Ballast pumps - I found to Jabsco pumps on ebay for a great price. Im using the Jabsco Watter Puppy to fill my center tank and the Jabsco Ballast pumps to fill my sacks. (140.00)
2 thru hulls - you will need these to vent you sacks I placed them on the same side as the rest. I have 4 in a row. (2.)0 each)
2 water pickups - you can place them in a triangle. Im assuming you have one pickup on the right side of you cavation plate. Place the other two so them make a triangle. Ill send you pictures on how I did mine. (15.00) each. Ill send you the web site where I bought all of these items. I searched for days for them but I got the exact items that are stock on the boat.
2 Sacks - I went with the Mairstar sacks that hold 40 gallons. I went with these because its very hard to find a sac the is going to fit in the locker storage where the walk through is. (99.00)each
2 Carling switches that are 6 pole. You must have the 6 pole or it wont work for the reversing. If you do decide how to do this I can walk you through the wiring. It a bit tricky. My boss had to help me figure it out. Im assuming on you switch panel you have two open spaces for them. Mine did (26.00) each. I went to an local electronics store for these. They are not easy to find.
At least 40 feet of 10 gauge wire in three different colors. Black , yellow and orange if you can find it. (33.00)
Water tubing that will not collapse. You need to make sure if this because when your pumping them out if it collapses you will have now way to pump it out. You can get it a a local hadware store. (30.00)
1 inch hole saw. You will be able to drill all of the holes you need with this. The thru hulls and the pickups are both the same size. (20.00)
Your definately going to need silicone for the two holes your are going to have to drill below the water line. It no big deal. I have done it on a few boats I have had. Just make sure to use silicone and it shouldnt leak.
This project took me about 2 weeks. I figured the cost was around 600.00.
