drivin home this sunday from a little pleasure cruise doing around 30 mph. all of a sudden I see a sandbar right in front of me. I pull back the throttle and kill the engine, and slowly glide into about 0.5-1 foot of water. Boat got stuck, had to get out and push it into the deeper water, luckily it was soft sand. Anyone else do something stupid like this? its in an area i've boated all my life, just wasn't paying attention.

when I was 16 I took off at 5:30 in the a.m. and i though I was gonna miss the sandbar and I hit it with my old outboard bass boat and launched about 3ft in the air but luckily all it did was scratch up the bottom a little lol needless to say I felt like a complete dumbass . . . Last year i witnessed a guy run his wakeboat about 7ft up into an island because he was completely not paying attention at all

Earlier in the year I took my dads bass boat out for a ride, this is the first year he let us use the thing. Ended up hittin a rock with it. Gotta be careful in georgian bay around the 30,000 islands area, its a land mine out here. Doesn't let me use it anymore, the funny thing is thats the first rock I've ever hit after 15 years of driving boats!

Took out an X2 this weekend to demo and the salesman drilled the prop in a the bottom of the river. The demo lasted all of about 200 yards.
