Slider Plastic?

Has anyone seen this stuff yet? www.railwerx.com Pretty sweet, They make a screwless HDPE plastic for ski hill terrain parks.
Makes sense for wakeboarding, I assume it would work, better than catching myself on the seams of our PVC rail!

How do you post a pic I tried to get one from their website, I'm not very good at the whole linking thing.

That is some great stuff. TSR is listed on their website. It looks expensive

The ArmorGrind on that website is an awesome idea. It's still way expensive, I read it somewhere but don't remember. i wanna say $500 for a 4 foot sheet

i asked them bout the price of 2 8ft pieces of the .1 HDPE armorgrind and the aluminum track and they said $52 plus about $45 for shipping. not horrible, but not cheap enough for a college student like myself

Am I missing something here? .1 HDPE is super super thin and from my experience with plastics it would very easily bubble under the sunlight.

I doubt it would bubble because the t's on the plastic are locked into the aluminum track!

I see they have pics of a wallride at a ski hill with the .1" HDPE. It looks like they make .2" HDPE and .2" UHMW but that would be over kill!

I just coated my slider with hdpe. got a 4x8 sheet for $120 1/2" thick. and I just counter sunk bolts.

Yep, HDPE is good stuff , However I've seen first hand what a screw that backs out of a counter sunk plastic though, Messed up my buddies face up bad and the board worse when he caught his front edge on a boardslide.

didnt use screws. I used bolts.

I am making a box 24'long x 18" wide with the thicker ArmorGrind its about a 1/4" thick. It's gone cost $330 for the plastic and the aluminum. And about $40 shipping. It would have been $208 if I wanted to go with the .1". Its gonna be beefy
