$1,430 for the Sub VI...Something like $800 for the B-Side...are these legit? No way anyone in their right mind going to pay this with Ronix putting out Parks and Harf's boards for under $500?

thats one way of making up for the loss after the break up. "stick it to the customer" I think ill buy a ronix! If anyone spends that kind of money on a board is riding for the wrong reason IMO. Parks lands a 1080 on a FM. Its not totally about the board. You can get a great board for 200$. With companies like CWB using old pro-models for their package board says a lot about the comany.
ps/ When did CHINA start charging so much for production. Those 7 year olds are hurting for some extra cash.

I think there are import taxes and stuff on those. I seriously doubt you'll see prices anywhere near that in the US for Hyperlite gear.

U.S. Retail Prices

Sub VI $799.99
Murray $549.99

Hyperlite and Ronix are both using this new foam that is really expensive in a few of their boards. Ronix is using the foam in their Dark Series ltd editions. It's supposedly lighter and stronger blah blah blah...

I hope thats true because there's only one other shop in my area besides mine that carries wakeboards. They carry hyperlite and I carry Liquid Force. Looks like I'm gonna have a good year.

Wow, show me some footage of a rider getting an extra 5 feet of air on all of his tricks. Because there is no way I could justify an $800 board no matter what material was used.

Chris.....I wish. Hyperlite is saying 2 to three weeks. Good news is, I have a drysuit coming Friday. So I will run it as soon as I get it. I did take it for a spin in Florida during Expo....It is awesome!

All of Hyperlite's boards are not that high. Just the Murray and the Sub 6
Spin2Win Hyperlite is still doing great. Their not trying to make up a loss. The Murray and Sub-6 are just supper awesome boards.

I would hope they are super awesome for $150 more than most other pro models.

Maybe they have rocket boosters on the bottoms so you get as much hangtime as you want. That's the only way I'm paying $800 for a freakin wakeboard.

The prices on this page aren't all that different from prices in many European countries. I live in Sweden and standard retail price for a Murray or Byerly wakeboard last year was around $780. I guess its the shipping cost along with a in Sweden's case, pretty steep local tax. Pretty scary in comparison what you can get in the US for that amount of cash.
