Okay so for those of you that already know this I am excited for those of you that don't you are about to be. Call Boat Insurance Agency and check what your rates would be for boat insurance. They have specials for Supra / Moomba Owners that are pretty darn inexpensive. I called skisafe and was quoted $555 a year 1/ a 1K deductible for the new boat. I then called boaters insurance agency and under the same parameters the rate is $423 with the same deductible and on a 1% deductible it was only $481. They deal with other boats as well so I would be curious to see if those rates are as aggressive as the supra rate was. They do ask about previous claims of course and having a clean driving record is essential I would guess. Check it out and let's see what everyone comes up with. (800) 344-7488. I talked to Sue at ext. 515 and she was great and got me info right away.

I just paid mine through State Farm and it was $377 for the year. Of course we have out other policies with them and I thought that was darn good...

I just received a quote from Allstate for a 2006 Malibu Response LXI. 300k in liability and 100k in property damage. I have higher level coverage because of a nearby lake insurance requirements.

250 deductible is $481.00
500 deductible is $436.00
1000 deductible is $381.00 per year
