I'm checking to see if anyone knows of a good, fair mechanic or auto body shop. On Thursday some jackass in a stolen Minivan did a hit and run on my 2001 Honda Civic. He got the driver side pretty good. He also hit my front left wheel. I think he bent my A arm or something, so it's not safe to drive.

Long story short, I didn't have full coverage and my insurance company told me that I can't go after the Minivans insurance company due to it being stolen, so I'm stuck fixing it out of my own money.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Can't help you in the Sac area. In the southbay I use Paul's Paint and Custom, guy is cheap and does amazing work. Only bad thing is he can be a little slow sometimes. But he did a job for a friend on there truck. Insurance said it was $2300 in damage, and he charged $1200 plus he fixed a door ding on the other side of the truck that wasn't part of the accident at no charge. It might be worth driving 1.5hrs depending on the prices your getting up there. P.S. I would imagine there insurance should cover it even if it was stolen. Sounds chicken sh*t to me. Call Paul at 408-710-2459 if you can't find anybody cheap and good up there.
