Has anyone added a connection for a vent to an older fat sac that only has 2 ports? Seems like I remember a thread on the topic a while back but I couldnt find it. I have a 3/4" thru hull that I was thinking I could use to make the port by cutting a hole, stuffing the thru hull into the sac and then sealing it up with 3m sealant. Basically I just want to know if anyone has done this becuase I dont want to ruin the sac by cutting the hole and then not being able to seal it.

I added 3 to one sac cause I didnt like where any of the original fittings were located, no problem. Just cut a round hole, not a slit, just big enough to pass the thru-hull. Test fit before adding sealant. I used 3M 5200 and applied some to the inside lip and out side on the nut side.

Exactly. I've added ports to all my sacs. Thru-hull + sealant.
