A lot of people are going to say the FCT Tower. It will definately help on resale, and fits the lines of the boat really well. They are like $1800, but during the winter season they give 20% off on towers. Another place to look is ebay. Sometimes new deminsions towers (the company that makes the FCT towers) has blemish models that they sell for $1000.

Air Boom towers look good on those too. Not too sure on the cost though...

Looks like they discount is only 15% this winter. It is normally 20%.

The same company also sells their blemish models (towers that got scratcher) on ebay for $1000. The only problem is that you have to have the patience to find one.

Just do a search for wakeboard towers every once in a while. I think their id was 'newdimensions' but im not sure. They always have the mastercraft and nautique towers for sale. The only problem is that the towers are exact fit. You would probably have to take the tower to a welding shop and have them retrofit it. You would still be under $1300.

wow, they look good, $1995 seems like a big price to pay on a $5000 boat though.

Brandon, I dont know what shape your boat is in. But I know a guy sold a 1988 2001 for $12k. He did a lot of work on the boat, and kept it in top shape, but he said the tower really helps on the resale.

I highly recommend the razor tower from http://tricktowers.com/page2.html

Solid one piece design and I got it 3 weeks after I ordered it.

I still have the dimensions too if you need them

It may be worth looking at Titan's Series I tower. It's a little bit higher than what you're looking to spend, but for that extra $95 you get a tower that is custom made for your boat, and features all of the unique aspects that make Titan so great.

On slightly older boats that have been outside in the sun, the resin used during construction will be more brittle due to UV bombardment. Because of that it is especially important that the tower on the boat be designed to minimize sheer and load forces applied to the deck. Titan uses a proprietary triangulated design for a very stiff tower, along with heim joints located at each mount to isolate the tower from the deck of the boat.
