Got my new 40th Anniversary X-star and had to take a set behind the boat.. everyone thought I was nuts.. espically since I was waving at the fisherman who were in awe looking at me.

54 degree water and first time on a board since October... mean rusty joints.. only front ballast in the boat... 23 mph

we started busted out the shortys once the temp got to 50

Thats nothing man. First set for me I fell twice walking down the iced over dock and had to leave the cover out to let the frost melt off it! Wouldn't have been worth it though if the lake didn't look like this...

Here is from my first set of the season. May 4th.

Yes that is ice you see, there was just enough room to get a few tricks in before you had to turn around.
That lake still has 75% ice cover. Water temp- Upper 30's.

Wow. 98 degrees. I will take some of that. We were at about 88 and water was around 77

F that, that's why I live in Texas, it was 98 on Sat.

I 2nd that, that is why we moved to Houston from PA, been riding since March and some people never stop.
