I installed my Jabsco pumps last season. the same one (center) has stripped out the female, D-shaped portion that fits over the pump's shaft.

this has happened twice now on the same pump. any idea of what could be the cause?

in my current configuration, the center pump is the only one flipped so that the impeller is below the motor.

thoughts? btw, this has happened with both yellow and green impellers.

My 08 210 SANTE came with the yellow impellers I replaced all of them within the first 100 hours. The new green ones have lasted with no problems. I now ave almost 400 hours.
Are you running them dry or dirty water?

yellow, you mean brass right? the nylon one will die real quick when run dry, heat up and melt.
