I shot these today with a Rebel XSi and my favorite 50mm f/1.4. I love that lens. This is my lab Conan.

Thanks Chip. How do you get your pics so big? Mine are huge pics I have to really make small to post here. Good looking dogs.

Thanks.

Not sure, to tell you the truth. I use Picasa at home. It automatically re-sizes the pics that you send out in e-mail (you can choose the size). These were pulled from an e-mail I sent to my my mom. I only had to re-size the bottom one as it was just over 150kb.

I would highly recommend a program like Picasa if you don't already have one. It's very easy to work with, and interfacing with Gmail makes it very easy to mass distribute pictures when I need to. I love the program for that reason alone.

Oh, I pulled them from gmail because I keep all my pictures on my home computer and I'm at work. It's also a nice way to be able to access the pictures that you send out to everyone, when you are not at your home computer.

And thanks for the comments on my pups.

this post is soooo perfect....now that i am taking photography class and have learned about doing everything manually and developing film, i decided to break out my old kodak P880 which a few years back was an awesome camera but had a fixed lens. It shoots in it's own RAW filetype but is editable with CS4 which Full Sail gave me CS4 Master Collection.

So here are some photos i took of my dog this afternoon so i could play around and tweak tweak them and get used to using the RAW tools. Of course I saved them for this upload to JPG and resized them so some quality may be lost.

Joe if your dog comes up missing, any one of the dogs above could be found guilty of eating it!

Normally I don't like small dogs but he looks like he has some personality to him or her.

he's not really that small, not like a chihuahua. he's about 12lbs but has a ton of personality. i wasn't a fan of small dogs in the past (i wanted a border collie), but when i saw him, i just had to have him. he's not your typical "lap dog" and been a ton of fun; easy to train, loves to play fetch and simply loves people and other dogs. he's really smart, too. he learned most of his commands/tricks in a couple months (sit, stay, lie down, head down (puts his head between his front paws), shake hands, high five, roll over, sit-up, stand-up, "bang" (play dead). i still want to teach him more tricks and also sign him up for agility classes.

Scott, I have not heard of the group but I'm sure if I got some practice Kyro would be quite good at it. He does a quasi dock jump into my buddies pool. What side of town do you live on, I'm sure we'll meet up sooner or later.
