I choose the Calabria Pro-V. For the money and amentities you can NOT beat it. Not to mention it seats 15 people!!! More weight the bigger the wake ;0).

Ken - Not necessarily. The wider the boat is the more additional (over stock) ballast it takes to sink it enough to make a good wake.

by "more weight the bigger the wake", i think ken meant more passengers equals more weight which equals a bigger wake, not necessarily just because the boat weighs more. my theory is, if you're using a ton of added ballast, you need to find more girls to fill your boat, instead of more sacs

Exactly Jeff...Shawn, I understand you're theory, which is why MC and SAN's are so small. Here in Oklahoma where I live the wind blows on average 15mph. That doesn't sound like much but for days it doesn't blow it makes up for it every time we decide to go to the lake. My buds in their smaller boats get killed going across the lakes to find the right cove. I've owned Supra, MS, SAN, and even a sky supreme I'm happiest with my Calabria for the conditions we suffer ;0).

Where are you at in OK? What lake do you ride at? I am in OKC and I frequent T-bird and Draper. The wind sucks here. Draper blows when it is windy you only have the north or the south side of the lake to play in depending on wind direction. Most of the time there are 5+ boats fighing for space on the Dam.

depoint50ae, we ride mostly at Draper when we don't go down to Murray, Eufaula, Arbuckle, etc. I'm the only Calabria in Oklahoma (at least as far as I have seen). It's blue and white can't miss me ;0). I know what you are saying about the dam we are usuall in that fight especially since they put that no-wake zone in that one cove that had the best protection... I'd like to drop a truckload of broken glass in there for those jet boater's that campaigned for that zoning...

Nautique 220 and a big houseboat as well as a ship for all the gas i would be using.

By the way I would be adding a ton of ballast because the chicks I bring don't weigh enough. Anybody know where I can pick up some fat chicks?

bruce, i agree. paul allen's octopus is my choice as well.

in terms of wake boats, i'd say, a 24v with 2500# of sacks or a 247 with the 8.1 and another 1k# on top of std.

in terms of chicks, in-n-out has the smallest of the girls, at least they are around here. mcdonalds is where the most "fit" of them eat.

jeremy, i stand corrected. my "more girls" method is tragically flawed. if i have more than 750 lbs. (still not a lot of extra ballast in most boats) of girls in the boat, chances are, a couple of them aren't real lookers. hey leo, i knew i recognized that name. are you still in for tsr next saturday?

Hey, I went last weekend. I dont think I can make it this weekend. I plan on going in about 3-4 weeks. After Spring break, I might be going every weekend.
