When you hit sliders do they damage the bottom of ur board? like put scratches and chips in it? If so is there nayway to prevent that other than using an older board? Any help is appreciated.

Not really, if your going to hit sliders expect damage. There are boards out there with slider bases (I have one with a P-tex base and it holds up great). If you use your nice board you're just gonna have to learn to be good with epoxy. A second board is the best bet.
I have a randy harris board, and after about 3 days of sliding my board was preety thrashed, its still rideable, but the bottom is black and there are some chips in the board, my friend had a byerly with that jib base, and that seemed to help a lot.,
i have a 02 premier 135 and have no idea how it would hold up :S o well i can use my old board but it might bust, im making some wakeskates and ill add protective coatings to those and use those for sliders. Thanks for the info tho.
