So I have heard that you can sand the edges on the 09 Slingshot boards and it adjusts how it rides. Can someone please explain this process to me. Sharper, more round, the effects of each. Also, im kind of scared to change the shape of a $400.00 board, because what happens if I mess it up. Thanks for the help

It comes from the factory shipped with the fastest edge possible, so all you could do was I guess round them a little more making it a little slower, I think, not 100% sure.

If anything you could round off the center of the board but leave the rest alone if they come with the "fastest edge possible". You want the board to have a sharp edge from the bindings to the tips cause thats what is in the water when ur on edge. Softening up the center just like you would do to your snowboard for rails may help from catching an edge but I'm not too sure and have not ridden them.

Its like de tuning a snowboard. Helps on rails and helps a lot on boards like the response that are crazy fast if you need to mellow it out a bit.
