I am about to purchase a 94 Sanger DXII with 140hrs!! on it. I should be able to get it for $12000. Is this a good deal. It looks brand new. Also, how is the wake behind this boat?

Low hours Wow ! With such low hours the boat was obviously not used and probably sat for extended periods. Just make sure it was stored properly and check things for rott like hoses-belts and such. If it was truly cared for and maintained properly then you might have yourself a prize. With low hour boats it can go either way just make sure it didnt sit in someones drive way all its life.

If it set out in someone's driveway, it probably wouldn't look like new. I sure wouldn't let hoses and belts keep me from getting a like new boat for $12,000. I understand what KG is pointing out, but I'd much rather have that boat with 140 hrs on it than that boat with 540 hrs on it all things being the same. Just make sure that you check it out thoroughly and take it for a good long test drive. Get a couple of sets behind it if possible.

Hope this helps,
Jman

Thanks for the info... Makes sense that if it has sat for a while that there could be some issues. I'm going out tomorrow to take it for a few runs. Anybody know about the wake behind an older Sanger?
