Pat Panakos is off in the Philippines Helping them make the coolest wake park in the world. Read this article. Down at the bottom they talk about this,

(Quote)

"He asked me to design the rails in his cable and boat lake and create the first ever winch course. Yes that’s right, winch park. Back in May of 07 he approached me about the idea of a nine-hole winch course to be built next to the cable. Well it’s becoming a reality."

Damn that's a super good Idea. How much fun would it be to go play a skins game with your bros on 9 different pool jibs.

wow... that is really sick. Its hard enough for me to afford a trip down to the OWC, much less the Philippines. It would be one hell of a trip to go out there and shred a little. Maybe some day when i graduate college and make that cash! haha

I hear, don't know for sure, that its one commercial airline flight, like two or three old ass cesna plane rides and a two hour bus ride to get to cam sur. it's only like $14 to ride all day at the cable but it's crazy enough just getting there

Not really bad at all actualy. You do have to take a prop plane, but they fit about 20 people and have 2 props per wing.

When I was reading the article it sounded like they weren't going to make the winch park. It sounded like they were going to find natural winch spots. Because they went in a helicopter with the govenor and looked around for spots.
