Anyone have advice on backrolls in the flats? I can do them consistantly w2w, and haven't attempted in the flats.

Also, Jessica Rabbit is hot. Who's with me?

I always throw my backrolls in to the flats, they feel sick. Go all the way out, I do mine with a raley cut just more on back leg, as you hit the wake you throw it the same as w2w. The only dif is don't throw It as hard or you will over rotate it. But don't come up short cuz it hurts like hell. It is the same trick just go for it! Goodluck
Oh and I am with you she is hot

I have always used my handle position to help control the speed of the rotation. Don't try to keep the handle in close to the hips. I let the handle out alittle to slow down and keep it under control. This is big on roll to reverts into the flats.

It seems to me he is asking for advice on Air Rolls (backrolls in the flats, not into the flats)

Sorry for not being clear. Cary is right, I have no problem doing them into the flats, I meant in the flats. I'm wondering how to do them without the wake. I know you need to load the road pretty hard, which I could use some advice on too. Thanks

alright. here we go.

go outside the wake on your heels then chill out. try this, start in the trough and take a hard/progressive edge out into the flats.. halfway out stop edging and come off your edge for a split second.. next, load up a short/hard progressive edge with your weight on your front foot.. try and push that front foot down into the water and scoop and throw it.

it might seem strange but you gotta believe dog. its a weird feeling till you throw it.

uhh.
