I'm looking to ride during the week after work but its a little to far to drive to the delta with all the traffic. I also cant get myself to drop the boat in the bay. I know the easiest way to solve this dilemma would be to get another boat to use in salt water. Before I do that are there any lakes closer to Berkeley then the delta or does anyone ride the bay near Berkeley??

There is the Berkeley Aquatic Park Right next to the bay just north of emeryville. I'm not sure if it's open to the public everyday, but I saw a waterskii event there way back in the day.

Ya I know its there and it sucks cause its just for water skiing. My dad drives over from Marin to ski there and its bout 2 minutes from my house and I cant even get out on the water. I think it might be salt water too. I'd be down to pay a couple hundred bucks a year to go ride there but o well

Sucks Man, I think the Delta is pretty much the closest then.

Lake Berryessa might be a little closer but it might be about the same drive
