Now this is a blacked out boat... or "murdered out" is another term I've read on WW for all black boats. Very unique but the interior would be unusable in summer heat. Keeping it clean would be quite the job too. http://planetnautique.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&p=105363#10 5363

WOW: Man I would hate to be working the booth and have to listen to every JackA$$ that walks by and say's 1 of 2 things #1 Have fun keeping that thing clean or #2 It must be hot as hell inside that thing. That boat is so crazy "I LOVE IT". It would be cool to have that boat on a lift under a cover and only take it out after the sun starts going down. BAD A$$

i have a black stripe on my rear seat and when you step on it in august 100+ outside it will make you cry. but the boat looks awsome. needs a bimini to cover all vinyl. i have black carpet and it always looks dirty. "G" good luck keeping that thing clean haha.

Jason: LOL Nice step brother ref. Made me laugh out loud. An all black boat would certainly take much more wiping down to keep clean and it would be a constant challenge to keep it looking like new. I personally know people that this sort of thing is right up their ally. The type of person that doesn’t like to sit down even when everything is perfect and they should be relaxing. This boat would keep them busy 24-7. And in the 5 min's a day that the thing was absolutely perfect they would have so much pride it would make all the cleaning worth it. Yea the boat is kind of ridiculous but IMO no more ridiculous than a lifted blinged out whistle tip on 22's

gotta love step brothers. once you start laughing you dont stop for about 3 hours. funniest movie of all time.... back to the boat, i would rock it for a year, so long as i had a guarantee that it was sold at the end of the year. i couldnt only handle one year of keeping it up, but would love every second of it.

Haha G! I was thinking the same thing. I'm OCD all the way and this boat would drive me insane with upkeep. Even when out on buddy's boats, I'll get an urge to grab a towel or cleaner and go to work. It can be a healthy problem and this boat would leave no idle time. I dig the interior. Do they make a material that will not heat up so bad? How could anyone use it in the CA sun?

If you were so worried about the black vinyl you could either spend a few hundred dollars and get a set of the Primal covers for the vinyl. Or #2 put a towel out. WOW problem solved Yea a tone of LED's in that thing would be awesome. I would love to do a boat like this. All red, All tan interior, Teak floor, and everything else either Carbon Fiber or Teak.

Yeah that's Darth Vaders boat...I love it its totally flossy and I don't think it would be to bad here in Washington. If the seats were Neoprene they wouldn't get to hot my last boat had black neoprene and it wasn't at all a problem. (Message edited by hate&pain on February 20, 2009)

It would ignite and burn the the ground here in Az sun. If it was in Havasu it would just vaporize. Dude the WHITE vinyl on my boat needs splashed before you can touch it in the balls heat of summer.

That boat would get hot in 30 degree winter as long as the sun was out! Seriously though, buying that boat would be like buying a brand new boat with bright purple gelcoat with green polka dots. I'm sure there is someone out there who would buy it, but selling it afterwards... well...

That's perfect for all the rich boy trendy wanna be wakeboarders who do it for the image, which seems to be the majority.

Shane, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But do you also think the PWT X-Star and Byerly Edition Nautiques are for "rich boy trendy wanna be wakeboarders who do it for the image" as well? What color scheme would properly display the "i earned my own way and can throw down with the best of them" image that apparently is really what we should all strive for? Also, I suck at wakeboarding so I guess I'm out of the running on that Nauty, sorry Mark!

Does "Murdered out" only refer to a matte finish, or does it just mean all black (gloss or matte)?

Here is the top defenition on Urban dictionary.com: 1. murdered out 370 up, 32 down When a vehicle has both black paint and black aftermarket wheels. The window tint should also be really dark and other aftermarket accessories such as black taillight covers etc. should aid in blacking out the ride. "That escalade is truly murdered out man." There are a couple below it that mention matte finish but are rated much lower. I was under the impression though that it needed to be matte.

Who knows what any slang may or may not mean, but I was also under the impression that it refers to matte black. I remember hearing that the term "murdered out" has to do with light reflection. Something painted in matte black reflects less light than the same object painted another color such as white. If you paint something in flat black then you are effectively maximizing the absorption while minimizing the reflection of light. Because of the high level of absorption you are killing the light reflectivity of that object, or "murdering it out". I have no idea if this is where this phrase stems from but it made sense when I heard it.

Thanks guys. IMO, "murdered out" is matte. Either way the boat is pretty killer, but i would never buy something like that. I know they were making a statement, but put a little accent color in there to define the lines. Maybe white piping on the seats.
