I live in Northern Ohio Want to move somewhere where the wakeboarding and snowboarding are better. If you live in the paradise I just described and are looking for a new roomate or riding partner speak up.
You might want to check out Denver. Obviously we have great snowboarding and the wake seen is pretty good. There are lots of groups out here for finding riding buddies for both sports. Also Denver averages 300 days of sunshine a year!
here in North Carolina you can get the best of everything. summertime is wakeboarding, winter is snowboarding, and any time in between you can hit the beach
Northern Va is pretty good. You are within 1 1/2 hours from snow in the winter and wakes in the summer. The best thing is that the area is just about recession proof with the federal government and all of the defense contractors in the area.
Where are you in Ohio. I have had to spend weeks at a time north of Dayton for work. Where I have to go they roll the sidewalks up around 6:00pm every night.
Nor cal.. I can literally ride behind the boat in my full suit and snowboard later that day. Over 10 resorts within an hr and the same with lakes, I roll to FL to ride and TX but living tho, can't beat it here
I'm in NJ which I definitely wouldn't recommend due to cost of living and generally being a socialist hell hole, but there are jobs here and in Philly. I've been wanting to move south for warmer weather and lower cost of living but it's not gonna happen in this economy. PA outside of Philly wouldn't be bad. But yeah, there are jobs in this area and it's warmer than Ohio. Riding scene... Well I'm often hurting for a third but there's a few regulars in the area I ride with.
If you're in a position to relocate, personally I was looking at SC or GA. Good weather, don't have gator probs like FL. Cost of living is low, when I relocate I'll buy a lake house down there and it'll cost what an average home on land here costs. Lots of lakes down there.
