yeah, i have open toe bindings and i really find that they cut my circulation off to my toes, it really annoys me, they are newish bindings...is there any possible way to fix that prob...other than the hot water bathtub method?....i just got out of the tub from the hot water, and it doesnt look like they changed much. i was in there for about 30-40 mins....

if you're into the sport and you know you like it, it's time to upgrade your boots. Those boots are for someone who doesn't know if they'll like wakeboarding or not, and they don't know if it's worth the investment. You have to decide if it's worth it. Even if you're a beginner, a high end boot is going to make it easier for you to learn.

stick a beer bottle in the ends if you can't upgrade, but I fully agree with Thane.

thanks guys...
Scott, i tried the beer bottle trick and it only moon-shaped the footbed....so do you think its worth it to upgrade the boots?...and if so, what boots do you recommend?

I haven't tried many boots, but a great intermediate boot that is easy to get in and out of, not too pricy, and has really good heel hold is the CWB Torq. I rode Torq's for half of the summer and never came out of them after hard backroll and 360 falls.
Just a suggestion; theres a lot of great bindings out there...

I agree the CWB Torqs are a very good binding, I only got to really ride with them 3-4 times this year after I got them 'cause I got them so late in the season...but wow, lets just say I'm in no hurry to get new bindings anytime soon, they are the type that are comfortable right away and don't need breaking in at all. (before I got them i had the same problem as you)

what I would sugest doing is start looking at some bindings you would like...then go to a shop and try on the ones you picked...see which ones you think are most comfortable. Have an idea of what you want before you just go to a shop and buy because you are desperate to change you could end up making a wrong choice again ( but still stay somewhat open minded)

Try using Wishbone Salad dressing bottles. They stretch from side to side rather than top to bottom. Worked great for me.

Dave, great idea before looking at new bindings as these are new bindings....gotta get those wishbone bottles out the fridge
I have heard alot of good things about the Torques, but theres no pro shops here, hardly anyone wakeboards here, so i guess the wishbone bottles are the way to go!
Thanks guys, ill let ya know how it goes...

No problem. I used the plastic ones filled w/water. No danger of breaking while shoving them in. Warm the bindings in the tub first, then use a little simple green (or lube of choice) to lube the bottles before putting them in.
Good luck.
