What boats would you recommend as good crossover boats? The ones I'm currently thinking of are things such as Mastercraft X-2 (the years the same hull as X-1, 205) etc, and the mastercraft X-1. And then boats like the air nautique SV211 or the air nautique 216. What are the waterski wakes like at speeds of 28-30 behind these boats? And what are the wakeboard wakes like when weighted? I know for the mastercraft very good, but not sure about the nautiques?

Are there any other good crossover boats? I'm in the UK so we don't really have a lot of choice on our market, we have s lot of mastercrafts and nautiques, a fair few malibus and the odd tige, but not really any moombas, centurions etc. And my budget is the sort of cost that you get an 04-05 X2 for.

The X2 and X1 you're speaking of are more or less the same boat. Look at the new Nautique Sport 200.

Best crossover I have test driven is the Nautique 200 sport V Drive.

i have a mc x14 and i really love it. It has a really good ski wake a wakeboarding wake that is big enough for me. the surf wake isnt too big but definately surfable without the rope. i can post pics too if you want.

I can't imagine either the X-1 or X-2 having a good slalom wake at 28-30. In addition to those mentioned, I'd look at the Malibu VTX with the diamond hull.

I read your post on the Correct Craft forum it mentioned your budget is 25k US . The only advice I can give is take your time and demo demo demo. Sell your 2001 and pay for rides until you find the right one.
