That boat was up for sale about 4-5 months ago. Very good looking boat.

Good looking boat but I would NEVER buy a boat from a pro wakeboarder. That's just me though.

Feel the same as you Eubanks. With all the weight and stress the pros put to those boats I would never buy one.

Yeah, your incentive to care for something that was free is very low.

I don't think Lyman's was free. He isn't sponsored by Malibu. He bought it from Gerry Nunn but I am sure Nunn sold it at a very generous price.

Yeah, it wasn't free. He had to pony up quite a bit of cash to buy it from Malibu after Gerry Nunn turned it back in. Very nice boat and one of the legendary wakes among the pros. Ask any Orlando-based pro and they'll tell you all about it.

I'm sure the wake was nice because Gerry was running like 6k in it right?!

A friend of mine rode it, "Giant"

I'd def buy it for around 10K less as long as it's as clean as it looks and was structurally sound. He says he bought it from Malibu in Feb of 07 so if Gerry had it, it wasn't for very long.

Some of the photos from Lyman's website showed his boat with fat sacs stacked on top of other phat sacs so I am sure it was massive.

You might be able to catch a glimpse of the wake in our photo galleries of Lyman, Adam Fields and Derek Cook because all those shoots were behind that boat.

Both of those guys definitely run a lot of weight. But, the one thing I will say is that they both took great care of it. Gerry is always meticulous with his boats, and Lyman took great care of it after he had it. Like Dave said, he did pay for it, and had to rely on it to last.
