Parks gave me his new board the PBV2 and I cant believe how lightweight it is! The bottom of the board lights up when you hit it or land, very cool. He is bringing me some boots also, until then I cant wait to use it. Has anyone tried this board yet? What are the + and - (Message edited by woreout on February 28, 2009)

I have known Parks since he was born. I use to ski with his mom at Cypress Gardens. I help Parks & Shane out from time to time so he just gave me a board to say thanks.

Nice how karma rears its head in a positive way now and again...great to hear Parks remembering those who help/helped him out along the way too. Be cautious however...I think every new board I get is the lightest ever...and then I put the bindings on

Now you should call Shane and get one of those FLY Shanes, so you can "compare" them. What boots is he getting you?

NIck, Nick, Nick... its not like you to say Zane is a "pot of gold" as a spokesman in another thread or talk about your stay with Will X this winter(that I set up btw) and who got you hooked up with the slingshot stuff hmmmm? Loren its not really karma, they are just good guys.

haha, I am laughing so hard right now... I just hope that that doesn't start a terrible horrible rumor....but it will. Surprised they make a animated smiley for that action. haha. If I wasn't broke (or can convice mom to float me some cash) I really want to come down for spring break, but it isn't looking promising. ...and it is a stretch at this point but there is a maybe maybe maybe chance I'll be in Tavares this summer...but again, unlikely.

I am interested in how the Reliks perform, as mine are on their way right now. Also, anyone have any insight into why Parks was riding the One setup at Wakelab? (end hijack)

Ben, I was wondering the same thing. It was Danny's board, because it had all Danny's sponsors on it.

Did anybody else miss "The bottom of the board lights up when you hit it or land, very cool." I dont know how "cool" that would be. Probably get laughed off a lot of boats!! If its true you just need Mellisa's light up boots and you could be the new Coast Guard.

I dont know about you, but if someone asked for a pull behind my boat and they had a PBV2 I wouldnt be laughing at anyone. I would be kissing up hard to try and get a set on it. Although it does seem like a pointless, and heavy, feature to have on a board.

Its not heavy the light is only about 3x3 inches it probably weighs as much as a quarter. Its the lightest board I have seen. (no pun intended)

Am I just not reading this correctly or are you guys actually serious that the board "lights" up upon landings? If so how and what does this look like, I dont know how cool this would be with out a good definition first.
