I was on google maps looking my house (lame, i know)... and saw this little stretch of water, went checked it out and its AMAZING. about 1/2 mile long, big enough for a boat....but perfect for a jet-ski....

Called up the town to see who owned it, BAM! This guy who lives like 4 houses down who loves my friend and I's wakeboarding.... ran the idea of tossing in some rails and whatnot... he gave me the all clear.... anything I want to do he doesn't care, he said he forgot he even owned it!
Lumber for a wall ride on the flat and a curved one for the corner is getting ordered today!

Dude, just saw your profile....you are in WI, ride a slingshot, and are making a rail park.

MWW crew will help I bet, if you need anything drop a line on our forums....otherwise we ARE going to raid this thing when you get it going.

Have jetskis, gas, whatever.

I am in Central Wisconsin (54457)
The outsides are a really mellow slope then drops to about 10/12 ft in the middle...

The land is owned by a teacher I had in high school, he was also the pres. of the local ski team so he is pretty good with it as long as I don't mess up his ski course...since that pic was taken he has made it wider and more boat friendly.... He said I just have to wait until the DNR gives him the okay on his construction before I can go crazy....

I am tempted to go to what was "Grants Phat Pond" and jack some of the rails there... or even buy them, im sure the current owner could care less..... i'll keep people updated.

Yeah those rails are totally jacked.

Man if you get clearance to build me and my crew, Colin Ryan and the rest of The House team will roll out there and build something with you if we can session hard and video for a few days.

Hopefully... the guy who "OWNS" is the father of the guy i know well... the son (still like 34 years or so) someday wants a ski course and keep his boat there, but as long as everything is off to the side he didn't seem to care...
hopefully sometime this week he will get the Okay from the DNR about whatever he is dealing with then I can go nuts

Old     (sidekicknicholas)      Join Date: Mar 2007       04-27-2008, 6:44 PM Reply
the middle is 10-12' or soo.... i know i couldnt touch w/ arm in the air in the middle before it was dug out... so if anything its more than it was

when it warms up I'll take a swim and find depths... before anything is built the flooding will have to go down, or it will be hard to judge where to put things

I am down for it.. Me and PK are down to make this happen. This will be sick witted if it goes down. We should plan a long weekend for everyone to go and build then session.

right on, if you guys are in the area hit me up 715-213-4240... our boats in another lake if you need pulls down here...and then someday if/when this place gets going we can for sure plan something a build/ride day...

all i'm waiting on now is:
-Jet ski out of storage
-Owner to give me the okay that he has the okay from the DNR about something
-Get some wood and hardware
