hey guys
alright i need some input on my idea for my sub box.
i have a 98 acura integra gs (2dr)
i have 2 kicker 12" subs
i have a kicker box right now and the only way i can take 2 wakeboards with me is if i take off there boots and squeeze them on the sides of the sub box with my back seats folded down.

what I want to do if make a fibre glass box where the subs are angled upwards at about a 40 degree angle facing towards the rear of the car with a space in between them where the fibreglass would dip down very low and a set of board racks would stick out of the middle. that way i could fold back the seats and securely carry 2 wakeboards with boots installed without moving my subs all around. finally i would like to paint in milano red like the outside of my car. i have searched the internet before and i havent found anything like this to model from. i would build the frame out of wood and in the middle have a metal pipe where i would attatch the board racks similar to a tower.

i have never worked with fibreglass before so if anyone has any tips on how i could make this happen please please share. i dont know exactly what materials to use either so if anyone has any experience please share. thanks a lot guys.

i will post pictures of the completed project.

With my car (civic) it was either subs or wakeboards, not both... but with the tratch you've got a chance

ya i can fit both the subs and the board and boots and stuff its just a really tight fit and takes a while to pack everything up i just wanted something easier and cooler. i really want to do this but i need someone to tell me what materials i need to use and and tips on how to build it.

just use one 12 and mono bridge your amp. buy a nice ported box at best buy or get the specs from kicker website and build yourself. it will sound just fine and you will have tons of room and a spare speaker. or you could build separate boxes for each twelve and take one out when you go to the lake
