We have already seen the Beautiful BUs and the Slick Sangers, so let’s see the Macho MCs! What else starts with an "m"? This will also help me associate screen names with boats/faces at Spring Ride!

Someone please start a thread showcasing the Notorious Natiques! (not to exclude anyone.. Super Supras, whatever, you get the point)

I will be able to contribute to this thread 2 Satudays from now when we inspect and sign the papers for the new X-1, fresh off the assembly line and out of the factory. Seeing all of these beautiful MC's is going to send me through the ceiling the next two weeks...

I'll be shooting about 1000 photos of the new boat.

Attila - Have you dropped her in the water yet? Once again, shes a beaut.

such awesome boats. everyone complains about how many versions of the 205v hull there is (prostar, maristar?, x-star, x-2, x-1), but i think it's cool how two people can have the same boat but have it look entirely different

you're a lucky man. other than tin top, there aren't too many nicer places in texas to ride. i've heard it can get a little crowded on weekends with the lake travis zoo spilling over, but since you live there, i bet you get 5 days of complete glass every week

Thanks, its been a dream. Weekends can be crowed, but I always get the morning and evening butter runs, even on holiday weekends.

When it gets busy, we just party at the dock.

We had it on campus on Monday for publicity and it definitely was an attraction and got a lot of people to sign up for the club.

andrew, how'd smu pull off that one? we've been trying to get a boat for awhile at a&m, but no such luck. is that someone's personal boat?
Old     (andrew_moreton)      Join Date: Feb 2003       03-29-2006, 1:22 PM Reply
We have a deal set up with Brian Sasser's Wakeboard School in town and use their 3 Mastercraft boats. It really works out well for us and college schedules because we tell the coaches when we want to ride, show up in groups of 2 or 3, and the boat is already in the water. We ride for 2 hours or so with professional coaching and driving the entire time and then we head back to campus and the coaches and boat wait for the next group. We also looked into getting our own boat and had a great deal worked out, but it was hard to finance because of liability issues. Because we are in Dallas and there is a huge wakeboarding market here, we have the luxury of being able to work with Brian's school, our local dealer Texas Mastercraft, and Mastercraft to keep us in brand new X-Stars and X2s. Hit me up on my email and try to come to our tournament on April 30. Online registration should be up by this weekend at www.smuwakeboardclub.com. That is the boat that is going to pull the tourney and it will be on TXMC's private lake in Ft. Worth. Someone in your club should know about it.

if you don't mind me asking, what's in it for brian's school? do you pay them for gas and/or their instruction and driving time? or do they pull you for free in hopes the people who you bring along will sign up for lessons and/or buy a mastercraft?

we have a couple people who will be interested in competing. i'll be there for sure. not sure we'll be an "officially" recognized organization by then, but we're working on it

AJM- The top deck is white.

We pay the school for use of their boats, gas, and instruction. We found it to be a better deal that making boat payments and having to pay for storage, insurance, gas, maintenance, etc. And we don't have to worry about underqualified people driving the boat now. The biggest advantage, however, is having coaches who know what they are doing on the boat all the time.

I've seen your boat docked at your place on Lake Austin a few times. I've noticed it because I have the exact same X-Star. I've been looking at houses along the lake myself, but the $$$$ for some of those places is crazy

Did you buy the boat at martin because i was there today and saw a picture of that boat (or one that looked alot like it)That was for sale.Do they make alot of mc's with that graphic because i have have only seen 1 or 2 (maybe the same boat) We are only like a 5 or 6 cabins down from those really big cottages. We have a orange tri hull. Do you go to jackfish alot or just to test the boat.
