I am wondering whether there is any need, or benefit in changing the prop, also is the 343 sufficient for the 210 or is the 409 the way to go?

343 is WAY SUFFICIENT without re-propping.

If you are going to just wakeboard I would say get a new prop.... it will only help.

If you like to ski/barefoot I wouldn't just because you'll lose a lot of top end speed.

Acme 856 works wonders -- we push 1500/2000 lbs out of the water in a few seconds and run about 3000 rpm at about 24 mph.

look around for deals and it will pay for itself in gas

**If for some reason you dont have PP it will help in holding speed too

If you have the opportunity, I would opt for the factory power prop. It is great for getting out of the hole quick and on plane quick even when loaded to the max. I find it especially helpful when wakesurfing...you pop up before you can blink.

To answer your other question, the 343 if perfect, even if loaded, for the 210. I thought about the 409, but for the size boat that it is, I really didn't see the need for the added HP and money.

Nick, pretty sure he's talking about the new 210, which the 856 will not work on. There is no 343 or 409 option on the og 210s
