I'm currently running 2 APX480M Clarion amps in my boat that came stock. (http://www.clarion.com/usa/products/marine_audio/APX480M_.html). They are pushing 10 Polk Momo's and a 10" Polk Momo sub. I have the opportunity to upgrade to 2 JL e6450's (http://www.jlaudio.com/amps/e6450.html) for about $240 each delivered. Is this upgrade worth the money? I figure I can sell the 2 Clarion amps on ebay and get maybe $100 each for them. I like to crank the music loud and haven't been extremely happy with Clarion in the past. Thanks for the help...

I used to have JL amps in my Mountineer, and it was loud!!! Clarion makes some good high end stuff for sound quality. It is definatly worth the upgrade to the JL's you will not be dissapointed.

I have the jl slash series in my boat and have been happy with them so far. be careful, the e series is not as good as the slash. I think the e series is made in china and is a lesser grade amp. check the jl web site for details
good luck
