First off I have to say Croft has been great to me and I love my Malibu and going with another dealer does make me feel bad about not giving them my business again.
I decided to go with an xstar this time. I got an amazing deal with the 450 in it and everything else you can think of. The higher altitude was just not good with the monsoon. My wife picked out the colors and we went black and white. Pretty basic but I think it will look good!

Make sure to order the high altitude prop on the new boat. Your dealer should know that already

Matt,
I didn't want to lose top end speed and there were a few features i really liked about the xstar. The bow with the ladder for my kids is going to be great when we're chillin along with a few other features.
FYI the malibu is sold! 1 day on the market and she's gone. I think the new owner will take good care of her. Not sure if people have gone through what i just did but i didn't feel like i was selling it, it felt more like interviewing potential owners/parents and picking the best ones for it. I hope the xstar treats me as well as the malibu did!
