is there a reason for that? like not wanting people to stand on the abrupt rocker putting added stress on their knees?

Does the inch really make that much difference? I was reading some article about several pro riders and their set-ups. As different as they were with equipment, boat speed and line length they all set up their bindings "all the way out". So I thought I would try that and it was just one more hole in each direction but it seemed to make a big difference in the feel: In my case not better, but then I'm no pro rider neither!

Have you ever met Andrew? He's like 5'8" on a tall day. Same with Zane, I think he peaks at like 5'6". Then there is the tall pro, Trevor who probably hits 5'10" on a yoga day. Maybe Andrew made it right where he wanted it. I guess I can see how it could be narrow for someone over 6 foot. I usethe 23.5" stance and am only 5'8" on consistent tall days.

yeah but they could have made it wider and andrew would have still been able to use his 23.5"

Or they could have left it right where it is and upset Kevin Boeda.

I just talked to the engineer here at C-Dub and the stance width is 24.5" Where is it posted that the stance is only at 23.5"?

It's been wrong since the first piece of info was written about it. It's 24.5...you can measure it to be sure--but I watched the guy who designed the board measure it right in front of me. --I just checked the 2007 brochure that came in today...it says 23.5 again for the 142cm, but it's really 24.5.
